I just downloaded the trial last night, the version is 5.2 build 117, and I can't start the DNS, this is what happened, when i run a software it ask me to run the service.  and when I start it, its give me this error  and also, I've tried to run it manually on services.msc  my machines is: Windows 7 64 bit Home premium, I think i got .net 3.5 coz I have visual studio 2008. thanks and more power

It appears that the service is encountering some type of problem immediately after starting, causing it to shut down again.
Please check the Windows Event Log for any errors from Simple DNS Plus.
It you don't find anything there, check the application data folder (C:\ProgramData\JH Software\Simple DNS Plus) for an "ErrorReport....txt" file.
If the error message does not sufficiently explain the problem, post the error here or e-mail us for further assistance.

actually, version 5.1 is working for me, but when i downloaded and install version 5.2, it's not
any help ?

okey, I solved the problem now, my firewall is blocking the sdnsmain.exe, and I just unblock it, and everything is fine now.
